EDOF and full-range/trifocal lenses: designed to reduce glasses further

Medical factors that limit your options

Not everyone is a candidate for every lens category. Certain conditions — including some corneal irregularities, retinal disease, or a weak lens-support structure (the zonules) — can make presbyopia-correcting lenses a poor fit regardless of preference, and your surgeon may recommend a monofocal or enhanced monofocal lens instead for the best overall visual quality.
